At Walridge Baptist Church CHRIST is the priority. Here you’ll find a Christ-centered environment where the souls of men are sought for His glory. Our Lord told Nicodemus in John chapter 3, “Ye must be born again.” This is still true today! Without salvation by faith, through Jesus Christ alone we are all hopeless, helpless and condemned to spend eternity in Hell. That is why we strive to make sure that each and every person we come into contact with knows 100% for sure that Christ is their Saviour and Heaven is their home. We believe that Christ is the Head of the Church; therefore we are an independent Baptist church meaning that we do not answer to any denominational body. We are free to follow Christ as He leads us. We understand that without a good foundation and confidence in the Word of God one can never grow as a Christian. We preach and teach exclusively from the King James Bible believing it to be God’s inspired and preserved Word for the English speaking people. We are a family focused church. Did you know that before God ever instituted government, the Jewish nation or the Church He instituted the home? God puts an emphasis on the home and so do we! WBC is a place where families can get the spiritual guidance and nourishment they need. We have a Sunday School class for every age group and vibrant church services that stir the heart and feed the soul. Music is a gift from God to be used in His service for His glory. God’s Word declares, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Colossians 3:16) At WBC we have a vibrant music program composed of the old hymns of our faith, sung with grace in our hearts and excitement in our souls. Walridge Baptist Church has many exciting opportunities for you and your family. However the most important reason to attend WBC is because you feel it is God’s will for your life.
